So I have not updated my blog in quite a while. But to catch up Michael and I had our first little boy on October 30, 2012. His name is Strider Howard Silvester. He is so precious and such a blessing in our lives. He was born at 8 lbs 12 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. The first group of pictures were taken when he was one month old.

These are the pictures of his birth. And just random ones of him growing, smiling, with cousins, and more.

His blessing was a very special day for us. He was given a wonderful blessing and we were blessed to be surrounded by our wonderful family. He was blessed December 2, 2012 by Michael.

The first time I caught him sucking his thumb. He didn't stop for about twenty minutes.

1st Anniversary

So since I do not post much I don't know if any one will even check my site to read this. But still. So on December 29 & 30 Michael and I celebrated our first anniversary. We went and got a room at the anniversary in here in logan and stayed in the Pyramids of Egypt. It was a really cool room. For each room they give you two complimentary cheesecakes. But since michael does not like cheesecake we did the replacement choice which was cupcakes. Comes to find they gave us both and Michael did not like the cupcakes so I got to eat both cupcakes and both cheesecakes. So after we checked in we went and had dinner at the Coppermill. It was Michaels first time there. We ordered a steak and shrimp meal and split it. They give you a ton of food. After that we went back the anniversary inn and decided we needed to get our camera from the house to take pictures. So went home to get it and could not find it. Thus no pictures. But it was a really fun anniversary. Than on the 31st we got to visit my side of the family. It was a great treat. Miss seeing them. Hope everyone else is doing good.

Our House

Okay, so these are only a couple of things that are in our house. the first picture is of Michaels deer head. Somehow, I don't know how or why, but it ended up in our bedroom. Michael is sure proud of that accomplishment. He likes to tell everyone how he was able to win the battle of weather it would be in the bedroom or not. The other picture is the main wall in our living room. I love the way we have this was done but it wont be this way for long sadly. It will be changed once we are able to get the couches, piano, and entertainment center. I am pretty excited to get everything to be able to finish the house and have everything where I want it. As for now though these are a few things that are in the house. Everything els is just not finished yet. Someday I will finish and get everything hung up and organized.
