Our Honeymoon

So I am finally getting pictures of our honeymoon up. Our trip started in Los Angles. We decided to drive down thinking it would be cheaper and save money. I am pretty sure it saved quite a bit to. We left at 7:30 in the morning and got to Las Vegas at 3, from there to Las Angles it is suppose to be three hours. It took us 9 hours and we ended up arriving at midnight. We stayed at Nils house to also help save some money. The next day we got on our ship to take off. It was called Paradise. It left from Long Beach, went down to Catalina Islands, Over to Ensenada, Mexico and back to Long Beach. The ship was awesome, we

were able to go hot tubbing every night. The food

was really good. They had a Mongolian BBQ everyday, a place of american food (chicken, hamburgers, ham, steaks, fries, etc.) and than there was another restaurant that changed its food service everyday. We were able to go to one of the activities that was about art collection. We wanted to go to the comedy show but when it came around we always decided to just stay at our cabin. From Catalina Islands we bought one of those photo album books made from leaves, a sea shell collection glued together (they are in the picture below the clock), a spoon for Grandma Summers collection. At Mexico we got a sea shell that has a painting on it (also in the picture below the clock), some ponchos one with the Tampa Bay

Pirates on it and the other has the Panthers, the last thing we got there was a hammock. We are going to try to find a way to hang the hammock on the back porch. We have just not figured it out yet.

When we got back from our cruise we went to Knott's Berry Farm, a theme park in Los Angles. We bought a picture down there that was painted right in front of us. It says Silvesters and than below that it has our names, est. 2010 and the phrase "today, tomorrow, and forev

er...". We than stayed the night at Nils again and the next day took off for Las Vegas. We went to Hoover

Damn, but by the time we got there it was getting

dark so we ended up not being able to stay long. But we had fun for the time we were there. We than went to Las Vegas and stayed the the Riviera Hotel. Once we got there we found out that hotel is well known for

the best topless show. We figured it would be a

closed show. But I guess one time when we were

in the lobby Michael realized the show was going on and directed me to go another way. I never did notice it. So we stayed away from that. In Las Vegas though we walked some of the strip. We saw the pirate show at Treasure Island, and the fire show at the Mirage.

We than went to Circus Circus. I think that is one of my favorite places to see. There is
just so much to do there. T

he hotel room was pretty nice but we were not to impressed with it. We figured for how much it cost it would look a little better than it did. But we had fun, and the hotel had a all you could eat buffet for only $8 a person. We were pretty happy about that, thought it was a good deal. The following day

we drove home. I was sick so I slept most of the trip home and poor Michael had to drive the majority of it. When we got home, we unpacked and repacked and left that same night to Bear Lake. All and all we really enjoyed our trip. It was a blast for the both of us. Hope you enjoy the pics.
